MATCH PREVIEW: Coventry City vs Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers head to Coventry City this weekend hoping to get their first three points of the season. It may seem funny to think but this will treated as an away trip for both teams, with Coventry still accustoming to their new surroundings at St Andrews (Birmingham City’s ground). Can't wait for it to be back

Can't wait for it to be back

Nothing can beat a matchday at the Mem. Leaving the house in the freezing cold (or pouring rain, but never it seems, bright sunshine!) and knowing straight away that you haven’t put anywhere near enough layers on to last you through the match. Whispers about the latest player joining, what is the line up going to look like? Or even where we going to get our kicks now the Chicken Balti pie has gone? (well maybe the last one not quite so much!).

A Giant between the sticks

A Giant between the sticks

When Bristol Rovers signed two very tall goalkeepers over the summer my mind immediately went back to the summer of 1965, when Rovers fans felt the excitement of signing Ronnie Briggs a 6’ 3” Northern Irish International, from Swansea Town.

An interview with James Clarke

Earlier this summer we were sad to see James Clarke leaving the club, to reunite with Darrell Clarke at Walsall. We were lucky enough to have a quick chat with him following the move. Thank you to James for sparing the time to answer these questions and best of luck next season.
